Miley Cyrus takes over SIRIUS

Miley Cyrus is taking time out of her concert tour and will be taking over the airwaves instead!! She is set to take over SIRIUS Satellite Radio’s (Nasdaq: SIRI) Hits 1 channel this weekend.
Miley will be playing her favorite songs, sharing stories and she’ll countdown the year’s top 45 pop songs. Miley Radio! will premiere December 28th at 12 pm ET and run through January 1st on SIRIUS Hits 1 channel 1.
Miley Radio! will feature Miley Cyrus counting down the 45 biggest pop songs in North America in a year-end edition of SIRIUS Hits 1 Weekend Countdown.
Miley will also host special editions of Hit-Bound, SIRIUS Hits 1’s show that uncovers artists and songs that are poised to be the next big thing; and Best of Live Earth Countdown, a recount of the most memorable moments from Live Earth. Miley will also share her personal stories and favorite songs throughout Miley Radio!

Zac Efron recently opened up to M magazine about being in high school and not fitting in…

Hey Z, so tell M readers about this fame thing. In high school, did you ever think your life would be like this?

“All through HS, I was actually seen as really nerdy. It had to do with the fact I was acting in community theater. My parents were supportive, but my classmates, and even some friends, didn’t always get it. I was going against the HS grain.”

Well, you’re def part of the “in crowd” now! How did you get over feeling like an outsider? "You really just need to forget about what other people think and be you - even though it’s totally hard. I finally realized people will accept me when I’m just myself. The type of friends you make when you’re being 100% “you” are true buds who are going to stick by you no matter what. The friends I have now that I also had back when I was in school, are the ones I made naturally when I wasn’t trying to be someone else.”

You’re out of HS finally! So what are some tough issues you deal with as a full-time actor?

“I do miss my family when I’m away shooting movies. My little brother and I talk on the phone a lot. Having a bro was something that I didn’t appreciate for a long time. But now I realize how lucky I am to have him in my life. It’s nice to know he’s always going to be there with me. Since I’m his older brother, he comes to me for advice all the time. I really like that. I’ve been there and can tell im the mistakes I’ve made, so he doesn’t screw up in the same way!”

M Magazine caught up with some of our fave Disney stars and asked what their New Year’s Resolution was going to be…
Emily Osment:“My resolution is to stop saying ‘like’ and ‘um’”.

Nick Jonas: “I’m going to say ‘I want to do a TV show,’ so it’ll actually happen!”

Selena Gomez:“My New Year’s Resolution is to do well in school. That’s one of my main
priorities. I want to make sure that I keep u pwith my school work and get good grades. And also to stay in touch with my Texas roots.”

Cole Sprouse:“To play less video games! Dylan and I will go a month where we won’t play. Then another great game like Halo 3 comes out and we’re just glued to the thing.”
